Born from a deep passion for game fishing by 2 Australian game fishermen, Hypertension Lures was created from a strong desire to address a significant challenge: the disappointingly low hook-up rate when fishing for Striped Marlin.

Frustrated with the limitations of existing gear, we set out on a mission to transform the industry by developing innovative solutions that dramatically increase success on the water. We are driven by an understanding of the value of time spent fishing, both in terms of the time itself and the considerable investment in fuel and equipment.

Our Lures are engineered and manufactured right here in Australia, ensuring precision and performance that enhance hook-up rates not only for Marlin but also for any variety of pelagic species including Tuna and Mahi Mahi (Dorado).
