Simplify rigging and increase the hook-up success on your favourite lures with Hypertension's patented Hook-Shift conversion kits.

Setup is easy! Use a small amount of CA glue (super glue) to attach the Lure Lock to the base of your lure. This acts as a quick attachment for the main unit.

Determine the correct length for your control sleeves (based on you skirt length under the head) and follow the hookset rigging instructions.

KEY POINTS:

  • The curling hookset will dramatically improve hook-up success of your lures
  • Control Sleeves shield your leader against abrasion at the mouth and head of the fish during the fight and are reusable in most instances.
  • Easier to rig than traditional methods.
  • Converters will not effect the action of your lure nor damage them should you wish to remove them.
  • Adaptor kits require a minimum of 24mm diameter bases and must be smooth.

Currently suitable for lures between approximately 7-12 inches depending on head profiles

Measure your skirts to select the correct sleeve

Measure the distance from the bottom of the lure head to the bottom of the skirt.

Skirt lengths of 158-195 mm require 7-9 inch conversion sleeves.

Skirt lengths of 195-240 mm require 9-12 inch conversion sleeves.

These measurments are based on an ability to keep hook eyes inside the base of the lure skirt as per IGFA requirements.
